Around The Corner Ministries exists to proclaim the gospel. Founded in 2016, the ministry serves to equip followers of Jesus to become bold witnesses of the grace and goodness of God. Part of our ministry is through the written word, devotionals, Bible studies, blogging, and now, a book of poetry written and compiled by Sheila’s mother, Judy Proffitt.
Judy has written hundreds of poems over the years and given all of them away to bless and encourage others and testify about the eternal salvation we find in Jesus. You might run into her in the grocery store, where she will strike up a conversation and before she walks away, she has handed you a copy of the three or four poems she always carries in her purse. Inevitably it will speak to your heart at just the right time.
Judy prefers not to sell her poems. She feels they are a gift from the Lord, and she is simply a steward of them to bless others and share the gospel. All proceeds from the sale of this book will be used to continue that mission, printing more copies that can be shared as widely as possible.
